my favorite spring dresses
Spring has sprung and I could not be more excited because it is skirt/ dress season.
Dresses and skirts are the best because they are so easy to throw on without any planning and yet you look pulled together- the best of both worlds.
Here is a list of my favorite dresses of the season:
ALL IMAGES ARE LINKE
This is so fun! The peasant-style mock neck has some 70's vibes and it makes me want to skip in a field of sunflowers. I love a babydoll style dress because it is flowy and breezy so I don't ever feel like it is clinging or suffocating me.
I just love this skirt! It goes so well with a simple tee/tank or a cute blouse, sneakers, sandals or heels. It's cute even for fall (Like, just picture this with a cute cardigan and a bootie. Umm.... too good?!) Also, it's on sale!
How happy is this dress?! Don't you just want to go on a picnic in it? Maybe it's the southern girl in me, but I really want some tea and lemonade now... I am 5'7 and I love that it has the "mini dress" look without being too short. I feel totally comfortable to move around in it.
Gingham is really popping off this year and I am here for it. This dress is so feminine and sweet with the bow in the back. I sized down because they call this length the "Midaxi" length. Somewhere between a midi and a maxi dress I suppose? I knew it would be a lot of fabric so I am so glad I went with an XS! Plus the tie back makes the strap length adjustable which I really appreciate.
This dress makes me want to just sit on a porch and drink some warm tee, cozied up with a book. Maybe that's why I was inspired to wear it for my Summer Mornings promo photos. If you can't tell, I am really into these tiered silhouettes this year. I love how much movement + comfort they provide!
Y'all... I have pretty much worn this dress almost everyday since I got it. I am seeing this color a lot this season and I love it so much. It has the sweetest floral embroidery. Another flowy, baby doll dress which is so good for random 90 degree LA spring days. I initially fell in love with the white version in-store, but it was a bit sheer so I didn't buy it. When I got home and found this color online, I ordered it in a HEARTBEAT! And it isn't sheer at all, whoot whoot!
I ordered this dress this week but it hasn't arrived yet; I already know it's going to be one of my new favorites so I wanted to be sure to add it in here. Is a pun too much? Maybe? Eh, I don't care! This dress makes me feel peachy :-) (I also ordered a two-piece swim suit in this print because I truly think it is the most adorable thing I have seen this year.)
